Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2010, the Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers Jazz Connection features free public performances by the region’s top high school big bands, vocal jazz choices and jazz ensembles during the day and an evening performance at ECA by a celebrated jazz headliner. This year's headline performer is vocalist Jackie Ryan, who has been thrilling audiences across the globe with her powerful 3/12 octave range and her amazing stage presence. Her musical style covers gospel, blues, Brazilian bossa nova, Latin songs and Bebop vocalese. She has sung all over the world, from the famous Ronnie Scott's Club in London to Jazz at Lincoln Center and Birdland in New York, as well as many major jazz festivals.
